Eva/qu® effervescent suppositories against constipation.
Eva/qu® suppositories help to defecate by unblocking the feces accumulated in the rectal bubble. Due to their composition, they dissolve when inserted into the anus, releasing gas bubbles that increase the pressure on the anal walls. This stimulates the peristaltic movements of the last section of the intestine and makes it easier to defecate. Eva/qu® suppositories work locally, do not contain systemic laxatives.
Sodium bicarbonate and potassium bitartrate suspended in water-soluble polyethylene glycol.
Eva/qu® suppositories are not a medicine. They naturally and effectively restore normal bowel movements thanks to their action based solely on the physiological mechanism.
After insertion, the suppository dissolves within 3-4 minutes, releasing large amounts of gas bubbles which exert pressure on the rectal walls. The dissolved suppository softens the retained fecal masses. Due to the effervescent effect, the Eva/qu® suppositories detach the fecal masses and expel them quickly and efficiently. Reusing the Eva / qu suppository helps restore the slowed bowel mechanism to function.
Eva/qu® suppositories only work locally and do not contain laxatives which, if absorbed by the body, could cause side effects such as dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, colitis.
